Privacy Policy

What we do not collect

We do not collect the values you enter into any calculator. Every calculation runs in your browser using JavaScript, so your loan amount, salary, date of birth, weight, text or generated password is never transmitted to us, never written to a database, and never associated with you. This is a property of how the site is built, not only a promise: the calculators have no server to send data to.

We also do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the site, and there is no account or login.

What is stored on your device

Two small preferences are kept in your browser's local storage so the site behaves the way you left it:

• Your theme choice (light, dark or system).
• Your preferred currency for financial calculators.

These stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. They contain no personal information.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled on this deployment, we use Google Analytics to understand which calculators are used and how people move through the site. Where it runs, it records page views and a small number of interaction events, such as that a calculator was used or reset. These events never include the values you entered.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies and may process data on Google's infrastructure. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, your browser's tracking protection, or any content blocker. The calculators work normally either way.

Advertising

The site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can review and change your ad personalisation settings through Google's Ads Settings, and manage cookies through your browser.

We do not share any information about you with advertisers, because we do not have any to share.

Feedback form

Every calculator has an optional feedback form: a quick reaction (happy, neutral, not happy), an optional note, and optional name, email and mobile number if you would like a reply. This is the one part of the site that is not calculation data, and it is only ever sent when you choose to press send.

What happens to a submission:

• It is emailed to our team so a real person can read it.
• It is logged in a private spreadsheet we use to track feedback over time.
• If you gave an email address, you receive a short automatic thank-you email. If your feedback needs a reply, we may reply to the address, phone number, or contact details you gave us.

We do not add you to a mailing list, use your contact details for marketing, or share them with anyone outside our team. Leaving every field but the reaction blank is entirely fine — the emoji alone is useful to us on its own.

Shared result links

Some calculators let you copy a link that includes the values you entered, so someone else can open the same calculation. Those values travel only in the link you choose to share. We do not see them, and nothing is stored on our side when a link is created or opened.

Hosting and logs

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses and browser user agents, for security and reliability. These are generated by the infrastructure rather than by the calculators, and are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Children

CALQEVA is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

• Clear site data in your browser to remove the theme and currency preferences.
• Block cookies or use a content blocker to stop analytics and advertising scripts.
• Use the site without sharing any result link, in which case nothing you type is ever transmitted anywhere.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page will change with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than quietly edited in.
