PDF में लिखना, बदलाव करना और साइन कैसे करें

  1. 1"Choose a PDF" से वह PDF खोलें जिसमें बदलाव करना है।
  2. 2कुछ लिखना हो तो "Text" चुनें और पन्ने पर जहाँ लिखना है, वहाँ टैप करके टाइप करें।

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a PDF. Each page is shown so you can work on it; use the arrows to change pages.
  2. Pick Text and tap where you want to type. Change the size and colour from the toolbar.
  3. To change existing words, use White-out to drag a white box over them, then add new text on top.
  4. Use Highlight to mark lines, Sign to draw a signature, or Image to add a photo of your signature or stamp.
  5. Drag anything to move it, use the corner handle to resize, then tap Download PDF.

White-out hides content visually. For legally sensitive redaction, also check that the hidden text cannot be selected or copied in the saved file.

How to change text that is already in a PDF

Most PDFs do not store text as editable paragraphs; each word is placed at a fixed position, often with a font that is only partly included in the file. That is why even paid editors sometimes struggle to edit existing text cleanly.

The reliable approach, and the one this tool uses, is to cover the old text with a white-out box and type the new text on top. On a white page the result looks the same as an edit, and it works on every PDF, including scanned ones.

Signing a PDF

Tap Sign to draw your signature with a finger, stylus or mouse, or tap Image to use a photo of your signature on paper. With Remove white paper switched on, the white background of the photo is made transparent so only the ink appears on the document.

This creates a visual signature, which is what most forms, rental agreements and declarations need. It is not a certificate-based digital signature (DSC) of the kind required for some government and tax filings.

Good uses

The editor is designed for quick everyday changes:

  • Filling in forms that are not fillable
  • Signing offer letters, agreements and declarations
  • Correcting a typo, date or amount in a document you created
  • Hiding an account number or address before sharing a document
  • Highlighting key lines for someone else to read

Things to keep in mind

  • Your PDF is edited in your browser and never uploaded to CALQEVA.
  • Hindi and other non-Latin scripts cannot be added as text yet. English letters, numbers, ₹ and common symbols work.
  • White-out covers content but does not remove it from the file. For true redaction of sensitive data, flatten the PDF afterwards (for example by printing to PDF).

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit existing text in a PDF for free?

Yes, by covering it and typing over it. Use White-out to hide the old words, then Text to add the new ones in a matching size. On a normal white page the result looks like the original text was changed.

How do I sign a PDF on my phone?

Open the PDF here, tap Sign, draw your signature with your finger and tap Add signature. Drag it onto the signature line, resize it with the corner handle and download the signed PDF.

Is it safe to edit confidential documents here?

Yes. The PDF is opened and edited by your own browser and is never uploaded, so agreements, statements and forms stay on your device.

Will there be a watermark?

No. The edited PDF has no watermark, and there is no sign-up or page limit.
